In the unfortunate event that you must use your firearm to protect yourself or your loved ones, you WILL be facing at a minimum a criminal investigation and potential arrest. In the worst-case scenario, you could have your guns confiscated, arrested and charged with a crime, and even be sued civilly.  Any incident involving a firearm will result in legal fees, investigation costs, lost wages, and cleanup costs that most of us cannot afford.
